Well, hey there! I’m Vaibhav. A Computer Science student and a self-certified full-stack web developer. Even though I only know how to use Django and a bunch of other stuff. But anyway, welcome. And interestingly I have a question for you today. Do you know what a tech stack is? I suppose you do if you are some kind of a developer. Naive or experienced, doesn’t really matter. What matters is the pain.

Anyways, if you’re a developer you know how freaking hard it is to choose a tech stack. Right? Well, if you can’t relate then you’re awesome.

Hey there! I hope you’re doing great. Today I’ll talk about code syntax highlighting and how you can add syntax highlighting to your code on your website?

Before we proceed, let’s understand what syntax highlighting is. Syntax highlighting refers to adding colours to specific words or keywords and specific kinds of texts in code. This is done to provide better readability and understanding of code.

Introduction to highlight.js

To add code syntax highlighting to the code snippets, we’ll use highlight.js. This is a JavaScript library which provides code syntax highlighting on the web. …

Hey fellow reader. I hope you’re doing great. In this story, I’ll share three UI Card Designs with you. These designs are simple and alluring, which you can use in your next Web Development project.

I’ve embedded Codepens for these designs as well, so you can easily try them out within this story. You can also find the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code in the Codepens.

If the cards are not visible properly or some of their part is missing, try zooming out by choosing the appropriate zoom out option within the Codepen embeds.

1. Button with Hue Rotation

This button may seem a little simple at first, but there’s more to it. When you hover over it, you’ll see a beautiful hue rotation going on in the background.

If I were you, I would use this button for somewhat important operations such as form submission buttons, download buttons, etc. It’s just a suggestion; you are most welcome to use it wherever you want to.

2. Button with an Infinite Animation

Hello readers. I hope you guys are doing great. My name is Vaibhav, and I’m a web development enthusiast.

Today we’re going to create a simple yet minimal UI Card Design which will make your website look professional and modern. This simple design is easy to make. Moreover, you guys are most welcome to add a few more modifications to it to suit your taste.

Firstly, create a folder/directory at your preferred location in your machine to store the HTML and CSS files. I’m going to name mine as UI Card Design. You can choose whatever name you like.

Hey there. I hope you’re doing great.

If you’re getting started with investing, you must have come across these two terms, shares and stocks. Or, maybe the share market and the stock market.

Well, these two terms can get quite confusing at times because people sometimes use these two words interchangeably.

Personally, when I started reading about investing I used to stay confused at times because, in some articles, the writers said that they bought N stocks of XYZ company. Whereas, some said that they bought N shares of XYZ company.
